Account Undeleting

Question: Deleting an account, contacts also get deleted. When we undelete the accounts what will happen?

Answer:

       

     When we delete Account then Contact and Opportunity also deleted. Also if we trying to check this record then Error message will show Record Deleted.

        For Undelete the Account record we need to go Recycle Bin which is on left panel of Sales force home page. Click on Recycle Bin it will on https://ap1.salesforce.com/Search/UndeletePage where we can see all deleted items within 45 days.

      Select undeleted item like Account and click on Undelete button. It will undelete this account. If open the Account you will see Account’s Contact and Opportunity comes as it is. Means on undelete of Account Contact and Opportunity get undeleted.

   

     Same operation will work for Contact and Opportunity. Like if we delete Contact from on Account and undelete from Recycle Bin then Contact get come over Account’s related list. Same thing will work for Opportunity.
